An uncle believed in brevity. Quick phone conversations and brief burst visits. No talk of the weather. Cut to the quick intensity. A social E.B. White that would leave my head tumbling to sort and catalog the exchange. All that said, 18 hours in Venice Beach, CA left me satisfied and wanting more.

I’d love a conversation with Blue Bird. Parked on a back street with an interior tent for privacy from my peepers left me intrigued. I’m not one to decorate my dashboard. But, this vertical shield makes a nice reef.

The morning was quiet. And, there’s something about cramped letters.

The Venice trees have a nice impressionist dress. When graffiti prompts a paint over I wish such a hand were at hand.
