Big Jesus Burger has given birth to Brethren Just Below! What is Big Jesus Burger? The Big Cheese in recording studios in Sydney Australia. Located in a cool Surrey Hills warehouse, they now have an equally cool neighbour… a collective of artists studios run by visual artist Kevena Smith rightfully named “Brethren Just Below”

Amidst the resident artists are jewellery designer ELKE KRAMER, design studio GREEDY HEN, and paper engineer BENJA HARNEY best known for his recent Christmas windows  for Hermés.

I fell in love with all of them on my recent visit, they really are some of the most talented working artists in Australia and it was amazing to find them all under the same roof.  Each studio was a small universe of visual candy.
