COLLABORITIS
the singular suit is a special project that esquire has conceived inviting leading menswear talent to collaborate with whoever they wish to create a suit - 20 in total spilling out of the terrace rooms gallery of london’s somerset house - the september issue of esquire focuses on the suit, and as a precursor, the goodie bag last night included a covetable hardback edition of the magazine - you could really feel the energy of the project and how each designer had jumped in head first

donatella versace has worked with james clear

louis vuitton and christian schoeler - electric - he’s the one who did the project with another man - fingers crossed he does some stuff with lv for the store - he’s such a dude

how cool is this - terence goes to all kim’s dunhill shows in paris - this exhibition is showcasing some serious shit

this image doesn’t do justice to this piece - it’s a solid metal structure and a powerful presence that left everyone speechless

henry has collaborated with marc jacobs’ tatooist in la, who has etched motifs onto leather - esquire’s fedex account took a bit of hammering

savile row’s norton & sons have collaborated with artist jeremy deller who has previously won the turner prize - bespoke tailor patrick grant sewed on all the patches himself

i don’t think any menswear project is complete without patrick grant, owner of norton & sons

esquire’s editor in chief jeremy langmead is so open to cool stuff - richard james tie and prada suit

james sherwood wasn’t there but i had to include him - richard james suit and ede & ravenscroft tie

the singular suit at somerset house runs thru september, open 10am - 6pm daily www.somersethouse.org.uk
